Returning Officer Datuk Mat Razali Kassim announced three candidates who qualified to contest in the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election at 11.37am.

The candiates are Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh of Barisan Nasional, Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut of Pas and Azharudin Mamat @ Adam who will contest as an Independent candidate.

The Election Commission received four objections but were rejected.

After the announcement, the crowd of more than 25,000 people, comprising supporters from BN and Pakatan Rakyat, dispersed.
