SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived in the city-state tonight to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Leaders meeting this weekend.
Accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Najib and his entourage were received at the Changi Airport by Singapore's Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Lim Swee Say.
Also receiving the prime minister was Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, and Malaysian High Commissioner to Singapore Datuk Md Hussin Nayan.
Upon arrival at his hotel, Najib straight away went on official duties by having a bilateral meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina President Dr Haris Silajdzic.
Tomorrow, Najib will attend several functions lined up for him for the whole day including participating in the CEO Summit held in conjunction with Apec, receiving several top corporate leaders, having bilateral talks with foreign dignitaries and hosting a dinner for the Malaysians.
At the CEO Summit, the prime minister will give a talk entitled "Is the Global Crisis Really Over". - Bernama
