Malacca govt to bear cost of treating Ismaliza's siblings

ALOR STAR: The Malacca government will bear the cost of treating siblings of Ismaliza Ismail, an officer of the Chief Minister's Department involved in an accident which killed four family members on Sunday.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the cost to be borne by the Melaka Welfare Fund Scheme will lighten the burden faced by Ismaliza.
Ismaliza,28, is an economic affairs officer in the employee and international student division of the Chief Minister's Department.
Mohd Ali who visited Ismaliza at her house in Jerlun last night also presented her with a cheque for RM8,000, witnessed by his wife Datin Seri Asmah Abd Rahman.
The accident killed Ismaliza's father Ismail Ahmad,53, mother Solehah Samah,50, brother Muhammad Solehuddin, 15, and sister Ismalini,23.
Ismaliza and sisters Siti Nur Ain, 21, Nor Rahmah, 18 and Nor Sakinah, 13, were injured in the accident at Km103.8 North-South Expressway (north) near Sungai Petani Selatan toll plaza.
