Birthday party in Klang spells death for 2 guests

KLANG, Sat: A birthday party spelled death for two guests when a 15-man group armed with machetes, gatecrashed the event and hacked them to death in Taman Sentosa here, early today.
One of the victims, identified only as Kalimuthu, 30, tried to flee the group, only to be chased and killed by the assailants, about 200 metres away.

Another, Berberanathan @ Ravi, 42, who was surrounded and attacked, died on the way to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (TARH).

Two other guests, including a teenager, were also slashed in the incident about 1am, outside the house where the birthday party was held.

J. Sivamathran, 25, and P. Selvaraj, 15, who sustained severe head and body injuries, are now fighting for their lives at the TARH. - Bernama
