David Cook rides the crest of Idol success

FRESH from his victory in Season 7 of the American Idol, David Cook has wasted no time in getting on with his life.

Priorities recently dictated that he spiced up his social life with an outing with Season 2 participant Kimberly Caldwell.

In case, anyone has any bright ideas, Cook will only say that if he likes a person he doesn't have to wait for three days before he calls. He just calls. That's the kind of guy he is.

Anyway, when he was asked later whether he will be seeing more of Kimberly, he admitted that the good time they had together would probably be reason enough to have a follow-up.
Not to say that it's any of our business but David Cook is only 25 years old. He is ALLOWED to go on dates, you know.

Some people are saying that part of Cook's big draw in the late stages of the American Idol was because he changed his hairstyle and kept a little beard.

To these claims, Cook merely responded by saying that it was time to cut his hair then, and he forgot to shave at some time and arrived at the decision that perhaps it wasn't so bad after all. You don't say....

Recently, David Archuleta and Cook appeared together in NBC's Today show. Looks like America hasn't yet had enough of these two guys.
