    Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and the Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) is organising the Ninth Malaysian Film and Video Festival from June 21-23. Themed Towards Transformation, the event promotes the development of the local film and video industry, especially among tertiary students.
    Those keen on making short films or videos are invited to  submit entries. Among the categories for entry are documentary film/video and animation film/video.  Closing date is May 9.      Professor Klaus Oestreicher, associate dean from ESGi (www.esgi.fr) Paris, France will be speaking about Design Strategy And Branding at Mantissa College, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur  on both May 24 and 25 May (2pm to 6pm). Students from Penang and Johor Baru can also attend these seminars via video conference at Mantissa's respective learning centres.
     Professor Chen Tien Li  will conduct a lecture on Taiwan Aboriginal Cultural Products Analysis at the college in Kuala Lumpur on May 20.
