    Flowery farm

    Flowers are beautiful, and they make me happy. One of my absolutely most favourite flowers is the orchid.

    Orchids are beautiful and easy to take care of, and they last longer than other fresh flowers. My mother loves orchids too. She plants them and always buys a bunch of orchids from the wet market for our home.

    During one school holiday, my mother took me to an orchid farm in Cameron Highland. We had never visited the orchid farm before, and we were lucky because it was flowering season and the farm was open to the public.

    There, we saw orchids of every imaginable colour, shape and variety. They have a refreshing fragrance. My mother bought several species of orchids, and it was difficult to choose since all of them are lovely.

    After being there for half a day, we decided to go back home. I felt sad to leave that place full of lovely orchids. My mother and I bought gifts for friends and relatives. We plan to go to the orchid farm again next year.
