Saving is the act of setting money aside for future use. Stashing away some of your pocket money is always beneficial and rewarding.
Nobody knows what the future holds for us. What will happen if one get a chronic illness? We may have to spend a great deal of money on medical bills. Mind you, not everybody is born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Have we given enough thought to all these misfortunes? I am sure we would start saving if we thought about these things that have become a natural phenomenon in life. Therefore, saving now will ensure you have some amount of money throughout your life.
Let me share my experience with savings. I have always saved my pocket money. This practice enabled me to save hundreds of ringgit last year alone.
This was all thanks to my grandpa who insisted that his grandchildren should cultivate this habit of saving their pocket money. True to his word, he opened a savings account for me and for my siblings. He always takes me to the bank to deposit my savings.
Eventually, this habit also teaches us to grow up to be independent and responsible adults. I am sure children who practice this habit will definitely enjoy a fruitful life.
So come on, friends, save now and enjoy later.
