2013 SEA GAMES: Karate team delivers 2 more golds

NAYPYIDAW: A. Nisha and Syakila Salni added two more gold medals to karate's burgeoning tally at the Sea Games today.

 Nisha won 3-2 in the women's 55kg final against Mae Soriano of the Phillippines while Syakila won the sport's sixth gold for Malaysia in the women's 61kg final with a close 1-0 win over Vietnam's Le Thi Thuy.

 Their success added to the two gold medals won by S. Senthil Kumaran and S. Shree Sharmini this morning.
 
Earlier, the men's kata exponents won two gold medals in one of karate's most successful Sea Games campaigns.
