KUANTAN -- Pahang police are looking for a man known as Ravi, 53, who is said to have eloped with a 17-year-old girl from her house in Taman Fairmont, here, 12 days ago.
Kuantan police chief, ACP Mohd Jasmani Yusof said police were still investigating the case although there were no new developments at the moment.
"Nevertheless, we are confident of tracking down the student soon," he said when contacted, here, today.
He said Ravi's photograph had been distributed to the media yesterday.
Yesterday, businessman Raghbir Singh Sulakhan Singh, 44, claimed that his daughter Balvin Kaur, 17, went missing from home without bringing any belongings with her at noon on April 7.
The Form Five student is believed to have followed a man called Ravi, who is known to the family.
