KUALA LUMPUR: Police crippled a lorry theft syndicate with the arrest of 14 men on Wednesday.
Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said police team from Batu 9 went to a quarry at Batu 14 following a tip off and arrested the suspects at 10pm.
He said police seized four stolen lorries and vehicle theft paraphernalia from the scene.
Checks on the lorries showed one of it was reported missing in Cheras in January.
All the suspects aged between 20 and 64 have been remanded and being investigated for vehicle theft.
