Mustafa Ali denies he is the man featured in sex video

KUALA TERENGGANU: Pas secretary general Datuk Mustafa Ali has denied that he is the man featured in a sex video linked to him.

Addressing a ceramah in Rusila,  Terengganu tonight, he reiterated his earlier stand that the video is Umno's handiwork.
He said when the scandal first broke out, he was asked by a family member to 'angkat sumpah' (swear an oath) that he wasn't the man featured in the video, which was first uploaded on a blog.
Mustafa said he then consulted Pas' top leaders, spiritual leader Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat and Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang on whether he needed to carry out the 'sumpah.'
"They told me that there is no need. As such, I am merely acceding to their orders and so there is no need for me to angkat sumpah," he said.
He does not believe that it the video is the work of coalition partners Parti Keadilan Rakyat or even from within Pas itself.
He maintains that he has evidence that the video was made by Umno and will prove it in court.
