He said the decision made by some of these politicians to contest in different parliament or state constituencies in the upcoming election was proof that they were not sincere in delivering their best and assisting the people.
"They only stayed for a term or two ...how can they make sure that all the problems within their respective areas have been solved?," Abdullah said after officiating a handover ceremony of a house repairing scheme at Pokok Jenerih here.
Abdullah, who is former Kepala Batas Member of Parliament, also urged all fresh candidates from the BN to be more proactive in helping the coalition secure a two-third majority in the coming polls.
"All eligible candidates must have a good attitude in assisting the people in their respective constituencies," he said.
The house repairing scheme is part of the nationwide `GiatMara Turun Padang' programme under the Rural and Regional Development Ministry which provided RM101.7mil to GiatMara to repair old and dilapidated homes of the poor.
