Soy factory destroyed in a fire

BUKIT MERTAJAM: A factory processing soy products in Jalan Bukit Tambun-Juru here was destroyed in a fire this evening.

The fire broke about 8.30pm at the factory's hostel but all 10 workers escaped unhurt.

Firefighters from the Prai Fire and Rescue Department took about 45 minutes to put out the fire and managed to prevent it from spreading to an adjacent factory.
