Teacher and son attacked during family outing

KUALA TERENGGANU: Eight youths attacked a teacher and his son while they were on a midnight excursion with their family in a car at Jalan Sultan Mahmud here early today.

 

The assailants, who had earlier arrived in two vehicles, intercepted the teacher's car after displaying lewd gestures at the Batu Buruk traffic lights in the  12.30am incident
 
Terengganu CID chief ACP K. Manoharan said the teacher and his family were travelling from Chendering before the group confronted them.
 
He said, in the ensuing altercation which led to a fight, the teacher and his 20-year-old son were assaulted and their car windscreen smashed. -- BERNAMA
