    Get rocking in Sepang

Rockaway Festival is back for the third time in Kuala Lumpur and it is set to be bigger, better and edgier than ever!

The venue this year is the Helipad in Sepang International Circuit (SIC). The date is Oct 20, which coincides with the Moto GP race weekend.

Taking it a few notches up from last year’s line-up, Rockaway Festival 2012 will feature legendary metal master Max Cavalera, with his band Soulfly, punk phenomenon MxPx All Stars and metalcore sensation Unearth. The three international acts from the US, along with six local acts will rock out on the main stage.

Music fans can look forward to music within the festival grounds, especially with the addition of a second stage that will feature performances from The WKND Sessions (stripped down music showcases that cover fresh and interesting indie music acts).

With over 20 acts performing this year (more to be added into the existing festival line-up by September), Rockaway is one of the largest local rock festivals .

Local rock heavyweights Hujan, Love Me Butch and Massacre Conspiracy return with tons of new material to entertain. Joining them are the popular acts like Bunkface, I, Revival, The Padangs, Go Gerila and Twilight Actiongirl.
Festival goers can also amuse themselves with lots of games, the Rock Cinema and get sustenance at the Food Village. The festival is presented by TM and organised by Livescape Asia in collaboration with SIC.
