MIAMI: World No. 1 Novak Djokovic advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP and WTA Miami hardcourt tournament on Thursday with a 6-2, 7-6 (7/1) victory over fifth seeded Spaniard David Ferrer.
Djokovic will face Argentina’s Juan Monaco, who defeated eighth seeded American Mardy Fish 6-1, 6-3 in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
