Luxury hotel chain now in Vienna

THE Ritz-Carlton Hotel recently opened its ninth luxury hotel in Europe, in the central Schubertring Boulevard of Vienna, Austria.

The 202-room The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, comprises four 19th Century palaces and it combines traditional architecture with stylish interior design and has a spectacular view of the city’s famous landmarks from its rooms. These include heritage buildings like an opera house, concert halls and museums, which are all a short stroll from the hotel.

The building retains much of its original designs, painstakingly preserved and integrated into the interiors to offer a strong sense of place and tradition. An impressive marble staircase is one of its stunning interior features and the decorative mural paintings form an essential part of the hotel’s character.

It has several F&B outlets including the Dstrikt restaurant that offers authentic Austrian cuisine. At its rooftop bar Atmosphere, you can get a panoramic view of Vienna while enjoying a relaxing drink. The Melounge has the perfect setting to experience the Viennese tradition of coffee and cake in the afternoon. There’s also the cosy D-Bar.
