FANS of Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao can look forward to a “fierce” show on Sept 1 at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands at 8pm. He will be here for the Jam Hsiao 2012 World Tour Live in Malaysia.
Hsiao, who has a unique vocal range and fiery stage performance, spent over six months rehearsing his dance moves in elaborate stage costumes, in preparation for his concert tour. Describing his coming concert as “very fierce”, he will be singing love ballads too.
He has already performed in various places including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Sydney, Beijing and Singapore.
Hsiao shot to fame after appearing in the first season of the popular Taiwanese singing competition, One Million Star. He released his debut album in 2008, breaking sales record in countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. He recently won the Best New Performer at the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in The Killer Who Never Kills. He last performed here at the Tiger Asian Music Festival, sharing the stage with artistes from Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.
