    Get soulful with rock group Train at its concert in KL Live tomorrow, writes Dennis Chua

    AMERICAN rock group Train, which is famous for its hit song Soul Sister, will be performing live here tomorrow.

    The group led by Patrick Monahan will be at KL Live in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, at 8.30pm. Train Live In Malaysia 2012 is presented by Tune Talk and JS Concert Productions.

    Train was formed in 1994 and gained mainstream success with its debut album Train in 1998 which featured the song Meet Virginia.

    Its second album Drops Of Jupiter came out in 2001 and brought it stupendous acknowledgment across the globe.

    Besides Monahan, Train comprises guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood. The band from San Francisco produced the albums Save Me, San Francisco and California 37 in 2009 and 2011 respectively. It is currently on a summer tour of the United States.

    Tune Talk CEO Jason Lo says: “This group is hugely popular and has multiple accolades under its belt such as Grammy, Billboard Music and ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Music Awards. Train is soulful and creative with solid performances in every show.”
