Fashion house Club 21 opens its first multi-label store in the city next month. Syida Lizta Amirul Ihsan is a little ahead in the queue

THAT Kuala Lumpur still lacks shopping oomph is a given, but next month, Club 21 is opening a small window for better fashion choices at its multi-label store in Pavilion where brands like T By Alexander Wang, Comme des Garcons Comme des Garcons, Jonathan Saunders, Acne and Alexander McQueen, among others, will be sold. Here’s a sneak peek:

British pride
It’s goth and glory in this Alexander McQueen minaudiere featuring a Union Jack pattern. Decorated with studs and the brand’s trademark skull.

It’s electric
Blue pumps, like this one by Pierrre Hardy, are beautiful and elegant without looking dowdy. Time to bring out the pencil skirt.

Multi-faceted
Different types of leather and its colour tones gives this Camilla Skovgaard flat boots class, so you can put your best foot forward.

Stone age
This Lanvin necklace is set to dazzle any plain outfit with its glitter and glamour.

Different take
The quirky quotient of Comme des Garcons Comme des Garcons, like its balloon-like skirt, has won it a huge fanbase.

To a T

T By Alexander Wang. The designer’s  elegant yet rock chic style is evident in this zippered jacket and skinny leather pants ensemble.

Pony tale
Nicholas Kirkwood’s quirky footwear takes a different turn with this heeled boots with pony tail accent at the back.

Back to black
Jil Sander’s black leather carrier has a vintage vibe with its old style clasp but with dual handles, it is modern and practical. It’s a testament to the stylish simplicity the house is known for.

Jewel joy
This Lanvin clutch is a jewel in its own right with its coloured stones.

Golden age
Philip Lim’s gold-coloured boots with pointy heels are posh on the feet.
