These collections of Thai gold jewellery feature designs that suit the sophisticated and the sweetly elegant, writes Nadia Badarudin

AT Thailand’s Prima Gold, all that glitters is, well, gold. Pure gold, that is. That was why it launched a Malaysian roadshow to showcase its signature collections in conjunction with its 20th anniversary.

The 24k gold collections (with 99.9 per cent purity) comprise 20 sets of jewellery of exceptional craftsmanship, with each inspired by flora and fauna motifs that symbolise contentment and achievement.

Prima Gold is available at selected Tomei Gold & Jewellery showrooms nationwide. The signature collections start from RM42,000.

ALLAMANDA
The Allamanda flower, a symbol of strength, confidence and modernity, is the main inspiration behind the intricately designed Allamanda set. The collection, which reflects a balance between strength and gentleness, is ideal for distinguished women.

BUTTERFLY GARDEN
The collection features fluttering butterflies and flowers in vibrant bloom. The Butterfly Garden will suit women looking for exquisite designs inspired by nature.

GLORY SUN
The Glory Sun collection imitates the rays of the sun, portrayed by finely curved strands that reflect the intensity of the beams. These pieces are meant for those who prefer sophisticated designs.

LILY GARDEN
Inspired by the poignant beauty of lilies, the Lily Garden jewellery highlights delicateness. The design suggests a miniature realm where joyfulness and youthfulness co-exist.

MERMAID ROSE
The Mermaid Rose collection is inspired by the graceful look of the English rose. The flow of the petals is proportionately melded with imposing stamen, combined with leaves and an outline structure that enhances the effect of flowers in their prime.

MIRACLE TOUCH
Featuring fluid movements, the olive leaf bouquets in each piece of the Miracle Touch collection is conceived from the ideals of celebration and appreciation of victory.

ORCHID DELIGHT
The visual interpretation of the design is inspired by wild orchids. The detailed and textured stamen section implies the concept of richness and eternity, which is also a strength of the dainty set.

PRINCESS FLORA
The Princess Flora set suits women who prefer fine masterpieces made from gold and platinum. Reflecting spring flowers in British gardens, the collection combines the elegance of platinum (as the backdrop) with gold blossoms in the foreground.

QUEEN OF ROSES
