BOLLYWOOD actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor married on Saturday at Saif‘s ancestral home, Pataudi Palace, after being together for five years.
The wedding ceremony was attended only by family and close friends, including Saif‘s two children Sara, 16, and Ibrahim, 10, from his first marriage to Amrita Singh in 1991.
Saif is the son of the late Mansoor Ali Khan (the last Nawab of Pataudi and former captain of the Indian cricket team) and legendary actress Sharmila Tagore.
Kapoor will become the Begum of Bhopal after her marriage. The traditional wedding was held in accordance with Pataudi tradition.
On Monday, a grand reception for the Bollywood fraternity was held in Delhi.
Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who is Kapoor‘s good friend, designed the wedding outfits. He had also worked on restoring Tagore‘s lehenga which Kapoor wore on her wedding to stay true to the Pataudi tradition.
It was worn by Tagore‘s mother-in-law, Begum Sajida Sultan of Bhopal, on her wedding day.

The reports stated that Vidya was approached for the film Kick, starring Salman, but she decided not to take on the role where she’ll play second fiddle to Salman.
However, her spokesperson has denied any film offer to star opposite Salman, reports BollywoodMantra.com.
