Meet Maher Zain

WITH his recently launched album, Forgive Me, popular Swedish artiste Maher Zain is back in Malaysia for Maher Zain Forgive Me Live in Malaysia 2012.

Jointly organised by Marctensia Concerts and Awakening Entertainment, the concert will be held at Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur at 8pm on June 16.

Tickets are priced at RM78 for free seating and RM138, RM238, RM298 and VIP for numbered seats. VIP ticket holders are entitled to have a group photo session with Maher Zain. Maher Zain’s debut album, Thank You Allah, released in 2009, sold more than 250,000 copies in Malaysia. It spawned hits including Insha Allah, Palestine Will Be Free, Allah Hi Allah Kiya Karo, Baraka Allahu Lakuma, Hold My Hand and Awaken.

On April 2, he released his second album, Forgive Me, in 16 countries and it subsequently received four times platinum certification for high sales record in Malaysia in just four days.
There are 14 tracks in this new album, which include two Malay songs Ku Milik-Mu and Tuntutan Kepada-Mu. Additionally, the song title Number One For Me has become the first hit single with almost 1.5 million views on YouTube.
Fans can look forward to Maher Zain performing songs from his new album at the concert, co sponsored by Etiqa Takaful Bhd and One Drop Perfumes.
