An imported cream lives up to its promise to get rid of ingrown hair, writes Zuhaila Sedek
INGROWN hair affects almost everyone at some point of their lives. Ingrown hair can cause problems such as skin itchiness and redness.
But there is a way to rectify the problem — apply hair removal cream.
New York-based Malin+Goetz is a unisex skincare brand which has collaborated with Singapore-based hair removal centre, Strip: Ministry Of Waxing.
I have ingrown hair on my legs after years of shaving them, so I decided to give the Malin+Goetz cream a try.
After three weeks of applying the cream twice a day, I could see changes. The ingrown hair surfaced and I could gently pull it out with a tweezer.
The light brown cream contains fatty acids of natural Vitamin B5 and E responsible for repairing damage while botanical ingredients such as allantoin and chamomile soothe irritated skin.
Salicylic and glycolic acid help exfoliate the skin and prevent ingrown hair.
AT A COST
Available in a 15g tube at all Strip outlets, the cream retails at RM98. As I may need to continue the treatment for another month, this can be quite expensive — and that’s not taking into account other areas such as the armpit and bikini area.
