What’s your line

There are various eyeliner types in the market, but which one is for you?

•    The pencil eyeliner, like the Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense, is best for beginners. It is easy to control and is usually more subtle than other types of eyeliners.

•    The liquid eyeliner, like Bobbi Brown’s Ink Liner, is one of the most difficult eyeliners to apply as you need a steady hand, or the lines will look messy. The good part? Fine, clean and sharp lines.

•    Gel or cream eyeliners, like MAC’s Fluidline, come in a small jar and are not as wet as liquid eyeliners. But not very practical as you have to use a separate brush to apply.

•    The cake eyeliner, like Laura Mercier Tightline is mostly used by professionals for its versatility. It comes in small compacts, like the eyeshadow. But you also need a separate brush for this and have to wet it in water before application.
