Close-range, Portable wonder

RICOH Malaysia has introduced a projector which it claims is one of the smallest and closest-range in the market.

The Ricoh PJ WX4130N projector can be placed upright as close as 11.7cm away from the screen. It also simplifies the art of presenting visual information thanks to the ultra short-throw feature, which creates large-screen images of 48 inches from that distance.

Made possible through Ricoh’s innovation — the use of an original free-form mirror — it offers space-saving benefits apart from solving low quality presentations like shadows caused by the silhouette of the presenter and distracting glare.

The projector weighs a light 3kg, making it easy to carry around.

Another handy feature is the wall colour correction, which can be used to adjust the colour of the projected image according to the colour of the background for high-quality pictures.

“Portability and colour correction equal incredible flexibility because the projector is ready to be used in open spaces such as cafeterias, school laboratories or corridors for a quick, effective paperless meeting or seminar. This means the projector can take on a wide variety of creative roles. It can be used as an electric poster or to show promotional videos at expos and conferences.

“It is also perfect for running advertisements in retail stores or for screening live sports performances at sports bars,” said Ricoh Malaysia marketing manager Margaret Mo.
The projector retails at RM6,689. Get more info at www.ricoh.com.my or call 1-300-88-8228.
