“NO comment” was all Hong Kong TVB artiste Myolie Wu said when asked about a possible marriage between her and long-time boyfriend, Bosco Wong (also a popular TVB star).
Wu, who was in town recently to attend the Adonis Beauty Concept launch (she is the brand ambassador), told reporters that she wanted to focus on her work.
“I don’t think this is the appropriate time to answer your question. I am here today for another purpose,” she said, hinting at a slight discomfort when asked again if the couple would consider tying the knot in two years’ time. “Sorry, no comment,” she said.
The pair’s relationship remained low-key despite their recent announcement that they are an item at the 45th TVB Anniversary Awards 2011, where Wu was crowned TV Queen for her role as Empress Consort Hao-sun in the highly-popular drama series, Curse Of The Royal Harem, which was broadcast last year.
However, Wu, who has just finished filming a series in China, remained optimistic of her acting fees, but says she prefers to leave it to the company to handle. She said: “I also think the scripts and the characters in each serial are important as well.”
Wu plays Lei Tsoi-shan, a peasant girl, who becomes a successful dancer with the Imperial Music Bureau in the drama House Of Harmony And Vengeance — a drama currently airing on Astro On Demand, simultaneously with Hong Kong.
