DIGITAL imaging and printing solutions provider Epson recently launched its latest concept store at Pikom ICT Mall, CapSquare in Kuala Lumpur.
Though not its first, the concept store is a one-stop centre dedicated to showcasing and selling Epson products.
Besides displaying the largest range of the brand’s products, it also carries the company’s latest innovations such as the L-series printer, featuring the world’s first original ink tank system and Epson’s 3LCD Technology.
Officiating the launch were Epson Malaysia country manager Yasuhiro Kasai and general manager of Sales and Marketing Division Danny Lee.
New sharp-shooter
PANASONIC recently unveiled the Lumix DMC-GF5, the latest of its Lumix G Series compact digital cameras, in Kuala Lumpur.
The GF5 features a newly-developed 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor and redesigned Venus Engine, to ensure true-to-life images.
Sporting a sophisticated and stylish design, the model features a compact, lightweight body with built-in flash. A rubberised grip makes it easier for users to comfortably hold the camera in one hand.
“Panasonic expects the Lumix GF5 to please photo enthusiasts and budding photographers, especially females looking to upgrade from the traditional point-and-shoot camera,” said Harry Sasaki, Panasonic Malaysia’s director of marketing.
This model is available in black, gold, brown, red and white in the following kit options: Body with twin lens 14mm plus 14-42mm standard zoom lens (RM2,599) and Body with power zoom lens 14-42mm (RM2,699).
TV anywhere, anytime
YOU can watch Astro on smartphones, tablets or laptops with Astro On-The-Go which offers 11 channels, video-on-demand, Catch Up TV and live shows, including the Euro 2012 football tournament.
The mobile app is readily available for iPad and iPhone users to use. Laptop users can also access the service using browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Mozilla Firefox. The version for Android devices will be
released soon.
From now till Aug 31, it is free for all Astro customers. The 11 TV channels are CNN, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, One HD, Astro Awani, Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Astro TVIQ, Astro Warna, Astro AEC, Astro Ria Plus and Astro Shuang Xing. More channels will be introduced soon.
