OFFICE solutions provider Ricoh (Malaysia) recently launched its Aficio SP 100 e series printers for small businesses and home users.

There are three models — the compact black and white printer SP 100 e, the SP 100SU and the SP 100 SF e.

The SP 100SU has print, copy and scan functions while, the SP 100 SF e supports all three functions with added G3 fax function. Available at selected distributors and priced at RM299, RM499 and RM669 respectively.

Shoot, no mirrors!

MODELS showing off the new mirrorless EOS M cameras from Canon. The EOS M comes with a dSLR size APS-C CMOS 18-megapixel sensor with EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM and EF-M 22mm f/2 STM lenses. It is also compatible with Canon’s current EF and EF-S lenses with the use of an adaptor ring. The camera will only be available in October at an estimated retail price of US$1,000 (RM3,173). With the launch, Canon aims to achieve a 30 per cent marketshare in the mirrorless camera market by year end.

Yahoo’s Ramadan microsite

YAHOO! Malaysia gets into the spirit of Ramadan with a nifty microsite dedicated to the fasting month. Powered by its partners, Johnson & Johnson, and Listerine, the microsite features pertinent information such as breaking fast times, bazaar listings, expert articles and recipes.

Located at my.news.yahoo.com/ramadan_mubarak, it is accessible via multiple devices including notebooks and smartphones. Visitors can also share their experiences on the site using social networks, including Twitter and Facebook.

Besides customised contents, Yahoo! Malaysia also sources information from the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) website and Bernama. It has religious articles and recipes by Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin and Chef Wan respectively.

Towards the end of Ramadan, you will be able to check traffic reports and reminders for a safe journey home for Raya.

New Lifebook range
