THERE is more to Laffing Devils than meets the eye. Discovery Channel’s new six-part series The Devils Ride takes you into the gritty world of a real motorcycle club to witness the endless excitement and misadventures of the Laffing Devils, one of South Carolina’s fastest growing motorcycle clubs.
Although members come from different backgrounds, their commitment to one another and the club is strong.
While trying to maintain the stability of the club, Gipsy, the Laffing Devils’ president, faces constant threats from older members.
In the series, the Laffing Devils face the risk of losing their homebase — a car body shop owned by a fellow member. With increasing police surveillance and pressure, the club is forced to look for a new home, but moving will cost money.
The Devils Ride starts Thursday at 11pm on Astro channel 551, with repeats every Friday at 4pm and Saturday at 8pm on Discovery Channel (Astro channel 551).
