VOTE for your favourite teams in this year’s My School Rocks! dance competition, which recently concluded its audition rounds in Perak, Johor, Sabah and the Klang Valley.

Catch the top 10 finalists’ performances on Disney Channel (Astro Channel 615) and on the Disney Channel website, www.disneychannel-asia.com/MSR! Then, cast your vote online from July 28 to Aug 12.

Ten teams — one each from a primary and secondary school from each state audition and online auditions — have made it to the final stage, selected by the judging panel including celebrity judges Linda Jasmine and Sazzy Falak.
The finalists in the primary school category are SJK (C) Ave Maria Convent (Perak), SK Seri Melati (Johor), SJK (C) St James, Likas (Sabah), SK Convent (1) Bukit Nanas (M) (Klang Valley) and St Christopher International Primary School, Penang (online audition).

In the secondary school category, the finalists are SMK Poi Lam Ipoh (Perak), SMK Damai Jaya (Johor), SM La Salle (Sabah), SMK Convent Bukit Nanas (Klang Valley) and SMJK Chung Hwa Confucian, Penang (online audition).

At this point, each team has won a trophy, certificate, musical instruments and exclusive Disney goodie bags, but when the public voting stage starts, one primary and one secondary school team will win the grand prize of an all-expense-paid, 3D/2N stay at Hong Kong Disneyland!

Public votes count for 50 per cent of the final score. The remaining 50 per cent will be awarded by the judging panel for choreography, showmanship, props and costumes, teamwork and sportsmanship, and dance concept.
Grand prize winners will be announced on Aug 25 on Disney Channel, so stay tuned.
