THIS month, ntv7 has a new slot on Sunday called Hall Of Fame that airs Asian movies — Tamil, Hindi, Thai, Filipino, Japanese and Indonesian — at 2.30pm.

This month, it will feature Hindi movies Dil To Pagal Hai, Aggar, Kismet Konnection and Emi: Liya Hai To Chyukaan.

Its management group manager, Emilya Ab. Rahim, says: “We are the first channel to initiate a slot with a wide range of Asian movie titles every month, giving viewers a taste of different cultures, languages, casts and plots.”

Hall Of Fame opened with Dil To Pagal Hai starring Bollywood heartthrob Datuk Shah Rukh Khan as Rahul, Karisma Kapoor as Pooja and Madhuri Dixit as Nisha on Aug 5.

On Aug 12, it will air thriller Aggar starring Tusshar Kapoor, Udita Goswami and Shreyas Talpade.

The film is about Janvi, a woman whose life seems ideal  — she has a thriving business and is married to Dr Adi Merchant, a psychiatrist. The couple, however, has unresolved marital issues.

Kismat Konnection starring Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Juhi Chawla, airs on Aug 19.

It’s about Raj Malhotra, a top student in school and college but who is not having much luck getting a job, clients or projects. Everything he does seems to go wrong.

One day, he approaches Haseena Bano Jaan for help. She says his luck is not good and that he needs a lucky charm or a person who can change his life.

On Aug 26 is Emi: Liya Hai To Chukaan, starring Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondkar, Malaika Arora and Arjun Rampal.

Sattar, the owner of Good Luck Recovery Agency, is the saviour and the solution for those caught in the debt trap.

He is also highly sought after by banks and various multinationals as his company is a leading recovery agency.
