KEROZ Nazri, 29, began his singer-songwriter career in 2010, penning lyrics for various artistes including Zainal Abidin, Alyah Abu Hassan, Alif Satar, Black and Adira Suhaimi.

From Kuala Lipis, Pahang, he became the host of Sains Comot on Astro’s TVIQ the same year, and the show is now in its third season.

He is an engineering graduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur and a music graduate from the National Arts, Culture And Heritage Academy (Aswara).

Citing Datuk Sudirman Arshad and Bruno Mars as his all-time favourite singers, he is in the midst of producing a music video for his hit single Sedia Bercinta Lagi, which won Best Song in Cipta Ekspres 2012, a songwriters’ competition organised by Music Authors’ Copyright Protection.

The music video is shot in George Town, Penang.

“I’ve written two new songs for Adira Suhaimi’s new album — Tak Mungkin Terganti and Kubawa Cintamu (Sampai Mati),” he says, adding that he sang a self-penned duet, Sahabat, with Adira’s elder sister Ema last year.
Keroz expects to launch his debut album at the end of the year.
