FA CUP: Darul Takzim to meet Kelantan in final

KUALA LUMPUR: Darul Takzim lost 2-1 to Pahang at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil tonight, but they will play in the final against Kelantan on June 29 after winning on away goal after the match ended 2-2 on aggregate.

The match, which saw Pahang controlling possession, its player Matias Ruben Conti scored two goals in the 7th and 40th minute, while Darul Takzim's Andrezinho of Brazil, scored their only goal in the 48th minute.

The game, initially held at Darulmakmur Stadium in Kuantan, Pahang on Tuesday, was postponed and later shifted here tonight due to unruly crowd sparked by the overcrowding of the facility built to hold only 35,000 spectators.



Score now is Pahang 2: Johor 1. Aggregate 2:2.


Fans have started streaming into the Bukit Jalil National Stadium tonight to watch the postponed match between Pahang and Johor Darul Takzim for semi final second leg for the FA Cup.
