TGV Cinemas has a Ramadan Special promotion this month. TGV Sunway Pyramid’s The Club is offering a dining package for two that includes a choice of main course, mocktails and a pair of movie tickets.

The Ramadan Combo is a special set meal that offers cinema goers a quick meal of hot dog, mashed potato and a bottle of Ribena along with dates.

Buy a minimum of two movie tickets at TGV Cinemas in a single receipt and you will be entitled to the Ramadan Treat which consists of a discount voucher booklet from Zalora, KFC, The Creme & Fudge Factory, Tong Pak Fu Hong Kong Dessert Restaurant, Krispy Kreme and A-Look Eyewear.

The company also announced its extended partnership with Imax  Corporation which will see more Imax theatres opening in premier locations in the country.

 TGV Cinemas will launch its second Imax theatre in a new building in Bandar Utama in October and a third in Tebrau, Johor Baru in December.

 The fourth and fifth Imax theatres will also be located in Penang and Kuala Lumpur and are slated to open by December 2013 and December 2015 respectively.

“Our first Imax theatre at Sunway Pyramid has been a success and we are keen to introduce seven more, bringing  the total to eight,” says TGV Cinemas chief executive officer Kenny Wong.

 TGV 1Utama, its flagship cinema in the country, will reopen its doors next month.

“We envision that TGV 1Utama will usher in a new era. It will set a distinctive benchmark in the local cinema industry. New concept developments will be introduced to our customers. Our passion is to provide the best and most unforgettable cinema experience to our customers,” adds Wong.

 New cinemas in premium and strategic locations nationwide are also in the pipeline, including places such as Setia Walk and Cheras Sentral in KL, Station 18 Ipoh and Bukit Indah, Johor Baru by the end of  this year and 2013.
