CELEBRATE Fathers Day with dad-themed movies this weekend.

In Freshman Father (TV2, 2pm, tomorrow), high school sweethearts John and Kathy find out that they are having a baby. They decide to get married and move to Cambridge so that John can pursue his studies.

The drama stars Drew Seeley, Britt Irvin, Ryan McDonald and Dorothy Downs.

At 4pm on Sunday on 8TV comes All About Ah Long, a touching story of a single father who moonlights as a motorcycle racer. Separated from his son, he finds a way to finally reunite only to have his ex-wife disrupting their relationship.

The film stars Chow Yun-fat, Sylvia Chang and Ng Man Tat.

Hit reality programme Versus 2 comes at 5.32pm on TV3 on Sunday. The show, which pits top local bands against each other, features performances by rock acts Estranged, Kristal, Kyoto Protocol, Manifesto and Oh Chentaku this week. The show is hosted by Aidid Marcello and Hani Hatim.

Another reality TV show, Showdown 2013 (8TV, 10pm, Sunday), marks the fourth year of the country’s top dance challenge. It now has three categories — Junior, Open and All-Stars and is hosted by Hafiz Hatim with judges Maple Loo and Joe Flizzow. The final is on July 6.

Find out who makes the cut in Soccer Kids All Stars when the show returns at 7.30pm on TV3 on Sunday. Back for a fifth season, this show combines 17 of the best players from its last four seasons under the guidance of coach Mohd Asri Niggal, a former national footballer.

For a bit of romance, tune in to TV3 at 12.30am on Sunday. Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver who previously teamed up in the space-ball comedy Galaxy Quest, co-star in the romantic comedy Crazy On The Outside, which tells about a career woman who finds love in Rome.

TELEMOVIE: Melodi Sepi (TV1, 2pm)

Syafika is a deaf violinist with big dreams to become a successful recording artiste. Starring Mahmud Ali Bashah, Lydiawati, Ika Nabila Rahim and Nur Syuhada.

TELEMOVIE: Hana (TV1, 4am)
Atikah is terminally ill with breast cancer and asks her daughter Hana to find her long-lost elder brother Kamal, who is autistic and was placed in an orphanage when he was eight months old. Starring Linda Rafar, Hasnol Rahmat, Ezany Nizariff, Kathy Azean, Kismah Johar and Maimon Mutalib.

MOVIE: Titanic (TV2, 10.30pm)
The box-office hit film about the doomed voyage of R.M.S Titanic tells the story from the eyes of its survivor Rose DeWitt Bukater who finds the love of her life, Jack Dawson, and learns to leave the constricting life she had before. Starring Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Billy Zane and Kathy Bates.

MOVIE: Main Aisa Hi Hoon (TV3, 2pm)
Autistic Indraneel Thakur, a waiter, meets Maya Trivedi. She later gives birth to a son named Gungun. Indraneel adopts the child. Starring Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen and Esha Deol.

SERIES: You Saka ... Pergi Jauh-Jauh (TV3, 6.02pm)
Nia finally learns to communicate through supernatural means. She can hear Zeti’s plans and finds that Ibrahim has declared a truce. Starring Nabil, Eira Syazira, Fauzi Nawawi and Dynas Mokhtar.

TELEMOVIE: Embun Di Hati Papa (TV3, 10pm)
Rizal is a handicapped teenager raised by his mother. His father Jasni left the family soon after he was born. They are reunited 13 years later. Starring Zamarul Hisham, Noorkhiriah, Airil Fesol and Jay Iswazir.

MOVIE: The Dragon’s Chronicles — The Heavenly Mission (8TV, 8.30pm)
A broken-hearted man with infinite powers is abandoned by his loved ones. His inheritance becomes a battleground for evil forces. Starring Brigitte Lin, Gong Li and Sharla Cheung Man.

MOVIE: The Ring (TV9, 10.30pm)
Rachel Keller is a journalist who goes uncover to investigate the mysterious death of her niece and her three friends. Starring Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, David Dorfman and Brian Cox.

SUNDAY

TELEMOVIE: Papaku Masuk U (TV1, 10.05am)

A Fathers Day special about a married man who attends the same university as his children, pursuing a postgraduate course.His wife happens to be a lecturer in the same university.
Starring Rusdi Ramli, Aida Aris and Norkhiriah.

MOVIE: Anak Mami Kembali (TV3, 3pm)
Mak Bee is a domineering, single mother to Saiful and Ida. Saiful is in love with Fasha, the daughter of Ismail and Saleha. Mak Bee does not approve of their relationship. Starring Saiful Apek, Fasha Sandha, Waheeda, Farid Kamil and Azean Irdawaty.

TELEMOVIE: Suram Seri Pengantin (TV3, 12.30am)
Marsha is sickly and often visits Dr Yusof, who is enamoured with her. Starring Fasha Sandha, Ako Mustapha and Aida Aris.

MOVIE: Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai (ntv7, 2.30pm)
Karan is presumed dead when he and Pooja meet with an accident and he falls off a cliff. But unknown to her, he was rescued by villagers. Starring Tushar Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Amrish Puri.
