KUALA LUMPUR: Six Lions Clubs, here, held a buka puasa session with 30 underprivileged children of Persatuan Ehsan Wanita & Anak-Anak Kuala Lumpur (Perwanida).
The children were joined by about 25 members of the Lions Clubs of Bukit Kiara, Ampang, Kuala Lumpur (Host), KL North, KL Bukit Jalil and Damansara KL.
The event was held at Decanter restaurant in Jalan Setia Bakti, Damansara Heights, here. It is an annual community service project spearheaded by the Lions Club of Bukit Kiara, with Decanter playing host for the third consecutive year.
The Lions, assisted by Leo club members and event management company, Discovery House, organised games and performances to entertain the children.
After they have had their fill of the delights on Decanter's buffet table, they were presented with duit raya, goodie-bags and prizes sponsored by well-wishers and friends of the Lions.
"We had been looking forward to the annual Lions buka puasa party, and we were lucky to be invited. All of us had a really good time," said one of the children, while his friends nodded their agreement. By Ricky Yap
