"Normally during Ramadan, people look forward to eating something traditional together with their family and friends," he said.

"To satisfy that craving, we have come up with these Malay-style dishes."

There is sup kambing brewed with only the finest New Zealand lamb and herbs.

The ayam percik served with butter raisin rice and salad is a must-try, as the combination makes for a delicious meal.

Also available is NZ lamb kebab served with ginger chilli sauce, acar, salted egg and tomato rice.

Then for rendang lovers, the chef has prepared tender beef rendang served with acar, pappadum, ikan bilis and steamed rice.

Besides beef and lamb, Victoria Station also offers fish on its menu. Diners can try the baked dory with the house sambal sauce. It comes with fried egg, salad and steamed rice.

With prices ranging from RM9.90++ to RM39.90++, each dish includes  a welcome drink, buah kurma and a Malay dessert like kuih lapis, seri muka or sago.

The buka puasa specialty is on offer at all six of its outlets nationwide.
