Firm grounding: The Foundation in Engineering programme offered by the University of Nottingham Malaysia campus is a passport to the various undergraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Engineering.
Students taking the Foundation in Engineering will be able to interact with lecturers with a host of experience who will help students make an informed decision on the branch of engineering they should pursue.
The programme provides students with a broad understanding of the fundamentals of engineering and at the same time, gives them a solid grounding in mathematics and other subjects that will allow them to proceed to the undergraduate level.
Students will spend time performing lab work, participating in tutorials, written assignments and attending lectures. Strong emphasis will be placed on learning mathematical and physical sciences. Additionally, students will also be exposed to computer language and programmes and also study and research techniques.
