JOB opportunities in creative media are expected to grow as it is one of the fastest growing industries. The areas of the greatest opportunities presently lie in publishing, broadcasting and educational content development.

 

Creative multimedia is an undergraduate academic programme that specialises in the design of multimedia content. Students will deal with the integrated collections of computer-based media including text, graphics, sound, animation, photo images and video, which makes the course lean more towards multimedia computing or interactive multimedia.

The main purpose of this course is to produce multimedia designers or multimedia programmers. This course provides graduates with professional skills and knowledge in producing and developing creative multimedia content for online and offline applications.

Students will be equipped with strong knowledge in authoring process and creative media production. This course is a combination of the technology of content development and multimedia programming. The integration of multimedia content with the aspects of information and communication technology enables students to not just be capable of producing the content but also the technology of interactive features.

To complement the needs of creative multimedia experts, the Management & Science University (MSU) offers bachelor’s programmes in creative multimedia through its Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering (FISE). 

The programme, conducted over the period of three years will see students majoring in interactive media fields. An important feature of this course is the emphasis on practical problem solving in various disciplines using current and emerging technologies. Furthermore, there are plenty of opportunities for multimedia producers.

MSU has designed its academic programmes and develops the curriculums based on market requirements to ensure the employability of graduates.
