SriGarden International’s Year 9 students went on a field trip to Istana Negara recently. The trip was organised by the Faculty of Malay Language and a total of 117 students participated in this trip in order to better understand the system of constitutional monarching in Malaysia. The students were also required to submit a report on the highlights of their visit.

On the sports arena, SGI’s primary students recently participated in the Federal Territory Young Star Fencing Competition 2012 and excelled with a gold medal, two silver medals and two bronze medals. A total of 12 SGI primary students participated in the competition, which encourages young fencers in the state fencing development programme to become state fencers in the future.

Sri Garden International believes that respect and caring, tolerance, integrity, excellence, passion and openness in communication are all part of the day-to-day life at the school. Together with grounding in good Asian values, students will then learn the best of both worlds and be prepared to become global leaders in the 21st century.
