2,300 Raya cake packs for police force

KUCHING: The Sarawak Women's Bureau has given 2,300 packs of Raya cakes to be distributed to members of the Sarawak police contingent in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year.

Sarawak Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the contribution reflected the recognition and appreciation for the police force.

"With this contribution, it could bring closer relations between the security forces and charitable organisations, including non-governmental organisations," she said here yesterday. Bernama
