2 teens killed in crash

KUANTAN: Two teenagers were killed when their car ploughed into an oncoming express bus at Km37 Jalan Kuantan-Kemaman here yesterday.

The driver, Che Wan Muhammad Hafizuddin Che Wan Abdullah, 17, and his friend Mohd Shafawie Ismail, 16, were killed on the spot while the bus driver and the 25 passengers escaped unhurt.

Fire and rescue personnel from the Gebeng fire station took four hours to extricate the victims from the wreckage.
