Aidilfitri to be celebrated today

KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia celebrate Aidilfitri today, the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal, Datuk Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, announced last night.

The announcement was broadcast by Radio Televisyen Malaysia.

"In adherence to the command of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and with the consent of the rulers, I hereby declare that the date for Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri) has been set for today," he said. Bernama
