    PM meets Selangor federal workforce

    SHAH ALAM: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today held a closed-door meeting with 3,000 officers and staff of federal agencies in Selangor in conjunction with his two-day visit to the state today.

    Najib, who is also the chairman of the Selangor Umno Liaison Body, arrived at the Shah Alam Conventon Centre (SACC), here at 8.30am and spent about one-and-a-half hours to convey his message to the civil servants.

    Also present were Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister who is also deputy chairman of the Selangor Umno Liaison Body, Datuk Seri Noh Omar and Selangor Barisan Nasional component party leaders.

    The Prime Minister later attended a programme with about 20,000 industry workers from all sectors at the Proton Centre of Excellence, here.   -- BERNAMA
