KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak advised Malaysian students abroad to study hard and manage themselves well in order to contribute towards the nation's success.

"My fellow students abroad, you are the country's junior ambassadors. Study hard and manage yourselves well to help your country succeed," he tweeted on Twitter about 10.30pm on Monday night.

Last Sunday, Najib held a simultaneous video conference with students and embassies in five different countries at Seri Perdana, Putrajaya.

He advised Malaysian students abroad to study hard in order to help the country succeed.

He said that as junior ambassadors, Malaysians, especially students and officers at embassies, must portray the nation's success and uniqueness abroad.

The 45-minute conference was held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri and covered Jakarta in Indonesia, Canberra in Australia, London in the United Kingdom, Beijing in China and Tokyo in Japan. Bernama
