SPECIAL ISSUE: Collection commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II
KUALA LUMPUR: MALAYSIAN philatelists now have a chance to grab special issue stamps and miniature sheets to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II.
Pos Malaysia Bhd's Stamp and Philately Unit head, Yasmin Ramli, said the stamps were made available in two different designs featuring Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
"People may make their purchase from tomorrow in conjunction with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Malaysia. We have incorporated new features into the original stamp design of the queen's coronation."
Each stamp is sold for RM1.50, while the miniature sheet costs RM5 each.
Yasmin said the miniature sheets could also be purchased tomorrow.
Pos Malaysia group chief executive officer Datuk Khalid Abdol Rahman said it was an honour to issue the historic stamp collection.
"We hope customers will not miss the opportunity to purchase this memorable stamp collection."
