Clear BN manifesto

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional component parties do not fear presenting their election manifesto over Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) live.

MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said yesterday BN had a clear election manifesto that would be presented in the same way, whether live or pre-recorded.

"Well, the thrill of watching 'live' is different. It is just like watching Euro 2012, football fans are willing to stay up late for the live telecast because the feeling is just going to be different.

"BN is not worried about having live telecasts as we are clear about our manifesto."

Wee, who is deputy education minister, was speaking after presenting Yayasan 1Malaysia Development Bhd academic grants to 50 students who excelled in the Unified Examination Certificate last year.
