KUALA LUMPUR: DAP assemblyman for Kota Laksamana Betty Chew Gek Cheng must shed light on Ng Phaik Kheng's employment in Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng's office, urged Parti Keadilan Insan Tanah Air (Kita)'s Youth treasurer H'ng Sau Ping.

He urged the Penang Chief Minister's wife to disclose if Ng had worked with the chief minister.

"We want her to clarify whether Ng had worked in the CM's office."

Further, he added as a state assemblyman, Chew was obligated to explain on whether she had played a part in Ng's transfer from the chief minister's office.

Last week, during the Malacca state assembly session, Duyong assemblyman Datuk Gan Tian Loo asked Chew if she had harassed or injured her husband following numerous blogs and postings on the Internet showing Lim with a plaster on his forehead.

Lim had since denied allegations of the relationship.

On Saturday, Chew also denied allegations that her husband had a secret relationship with his former staff.

She also denied assaulting Lim or Ng.

"My husband did not have an affair with his former staff and I had repeatedly said I had never argued with her or assaulted her or anyone for the matter," she said.
